All our bags are made from beautiful Italian vegetable tanned leather which is the strongest, oldest and lengthiest way of producing the best quality leather. It is produced by traditional craftsman that have cultivated their craft and past it down over generations in Santa Croce, a small town famed for its leather production in Tuscany. A member of the Pelle conciata al vegetale in Toscana a non-profit organization established to preserve the traditional tanning methods and techniques inherited in the region dating from the 13th century.

We aim to highlight this incredible material and the beautiful characteristics of this natural leather. With no surface finish each bag is individual and full of charterer. Each hide is different and even within the same hide there is variation. Variation in grain size, color, texture, wrinkles, marks and scratches all add to a unique and unrepeatable composition.
